Suspension housings

Connecting component used in the systems to attach the FRONT/REAR axle systems to the chassis.

The technological and economic benefits of the so-called precision cold forging process can be found in the highly competitive near net shape blanks that are obtained thanks to:

  • the mechanical properties induced by the metal working process which adequately fulfil the operational requirements,
  • the precision of the blank part which allows rationalisation of the finishing stages

Recommended material grades: low- and medium-carbon non-alloy steels.

Methods of production:

  • Forge: using vertical or horizontal multistation cold presses
  • Machining: on mechanical and/or numerical control single-spindle or multi-spindle lathes

GÉVELOT EXTRUSION, drawing on more than 25 years of experience in this family of products, is able to offer a level of quality that fulfils the safety requirements for these products.
